Every time I start to write a "bio," I end up deleting it.  I have to think that to the internet browser who happens upon my blog but doesn't actually know me would think my life (and my blog) is nothing out of the ordinary.  But that person would be wrong.

I have an amazing life.  I've been married for 13 years.  We have 3 kids and 2 very spoiled cats.  I have a teaching degree, but 10 years ago we made the decision that I would stay home with the kids.  For about five years I ran an in-home daycare and now I teach preschool at my church's Mother's Day Out program.  It's a part-time job, but it's an unusual week when I don't put in full-time hours.  I love the kids in my class and everybody that I work with.  

For reasons known only to Him, God has been very good to me.  I've seen my share of sadness, but I feel that I am wiser and stronger for it.  Everyday I think how blessed I am to be surrounded by the people that I live with.  We have everything we need and some of what we want.  Life is good and I'm trying to enjoy every moment.  : )
